The largest postcard sentence using 5100 postcards formation, an official Guinness World Records attempt took place at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus as well. A few of the luminaries  who participated besides Krishnaprakash included Ajay Harinath Singh of Darwin Platform Group of Companies, entrepreneur Seema Singh among others.
This innovative endeavor is part of the Sab Me Ram Shashwat Shri Ram Event, set to take place from May 31 to June 2 across various parts of Mumbai.

"As we navigate through the ever-evolving landscape of digital communication, it's remarkable to witness the enduring relevance of the humble postcard. Despite the convenience and speed offered by emails, SMS, and instant messaging platforms, the simplicity and tangible nature of handwritten postcards continue to captivate hearts across the nation. With a huge amount of  postcards being utilized annually in India, their affordability at just 50 paisa each underscores their accessibility to all segments of society. In a world inundated with virtual interactions, the physicality of a postcard holds a unique charm, evoking sentiments of nostalgia and authenticity. In the realm of law enforcement, where digital channels often dominate intelligence gathering and communication, recognizing the enduring significance of traditional modes like postcards offers a poignant reminder of the human element inherent in our work.  ln simple words, Mera Postcard Ram Ke Naam as part of our festival is to digitally detox from the word and connect to The Lord. Sometimes in these letters, we find our own answers," avers Krishna Prakash (IPS), ADG, Force One.

As a highlight of the event, the Postal Department will launch a special cover marking the occasion, along with the release of an album featuring postal stamps of Shri Ram. The initiative aims not only to foster a deeper spiritual connection but also to revive the traditional art of letter writing through Post Cards   by joining hands the Postal Department.

"In the digital age, where the pulse of society beats to the rhythm of smartphones and social media, the steadfast presence of handwritten postcards is both a testament to tradition and a beacon of connection. While urban centers may embrace the convenience of private courier services and instantaneous messaging platforms, rural communities and the economically marginalized find solace in the enduring affordability of postcards, priced at a mere 50 paisa each. The tangible presence of the post card transcends the virtual noise, serving as a lifeline of communication for millions. As the Post Master General of Maharashtra, overseeing a network deeply intertwined with the fabric of society, I witness firsthand the enduring appeal of postcards, particularly in regions where digital infrastructure may be lacking. In an era where technological advancements propel us towards a future of seamless connectivity, let us not forget the humble postcard, a tangible reminder of our shared humanity and the enduring power of handwritten communication. We are elated to be part of Krishna Prakash ji's initiative of penning postcards to Lord Ram," expresses Amitabh Singh, Post Master General -- Mails and BD Maharashtra.

Krishna Prakash emphasises the significance of this initiative, highlighting its potential benefits beyond mere communication with a higher power. Regardless of one's beliefs, writing letters to God can serve as a form of self-reflection and emotional release, fostering a sense of inner peace and clarity.

Citizens are encouraged to choose their preferred method of communication with the divine, whether through silent contemplation, meditation, music, rituals, or connecting with nature and of course, post cards to God. The festival offers a diverse range of activities, including literary, musical, and fine arts events, all free of charge.

Registration for the Sab Me Ram Shashwat Shri Ram Festival is open on BookMyShow, inviting individuals to engage in meaningful cultural experiences and, of course, to pen their heartfelt postcards to God. Who knows, alongside their own prayers, the Postal Department may deliver answers from above!
