Actress Shubhangi Atre, who plays Angoori in Sanjay and Binaiferr Kohli's popular show Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai!, will be heading to her hometown Bhopal this Diwali after two decades to spend time with her family. "I believe that festivals are the perfect time to bring families closer. For many years, my parents would come to Mumbai to celebrate Diwali with me. But this time, I wanted to be in Bhopal, celebrating with my family and relatives. After a long time, Diwali will be at home, and I will get to relive all my childhood memories," she shares.

Shubhangi also mentioned that another reason for her visit is to support her father, who was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. "When my father was diagnosed, I felt it was important for us to be together as a family and face this situation. My father has always been my source of strength, and now it’s my turn to stand by him. Thankfully, his treatment has started, and he has already completed two rounds of chemotherapy," says the actress, known for her beloved role in Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai!.

Talking about her favorite Diwali tradition, Shubhangi says, "The Diwali puja is my favorite part of the festivities."
